Fellow Scouters,
Our March workday was a tremendous success! There were 88 participants in all. A special mention goes out to the members of the Executive Scouting Committee who installed a new shingle roof on an Adirondack. Troop 316, under the guidance of Richard Hodge, cut trees and chipped brush in the Cherokee campsite. Members of Troop 3 installed 70 feet of steps and leveled tent platforms in the Arrowhead campsite. True Morse and Troop 53 limbed and chipped white pines in the long-term parking lot. Pack 316 and Kenny Mills picked up trash on the Little Eastfork Road. The amount of work achieved was AMAZING and greatly appreciated!! The Camping Committee would like to thank each and every one of the participants for their hard work.
As you all know, there is always work to be done at camp. We can use all the help we can get so check your calendars for the monthly workdays and spread the word. Bring your Scouts out for some hard work as well as lots of fun and fellowship. Together we can make Camp Daniel Boone the greatest camp of all!!
Thanks again,
