CDB Project List

Volunteers are needed for the following projects! Whether you are a friend of camp or your unit is in need of a service project, see below for the current list of projects from our assessments post- Hurrican Helene needed to get camp back to normal!

Aquatics/Lake Allen: 

  • Swimmers Area dredging 
  • Dig out/remove sediment from Changing Rooms
  • Dig out/remove sediment from Aquatics Pavilion
  • Debris removal
  • Reinstall fencing/split rail fences post-dredging

Ecology: 

  • Remove sediment from pavilion
  • Debris Cleanup

Handicraft: 

  • Remove sediment from porches
  • Debris Cleanup
  • Assess program supplies

Goin' Great Field: 

  • Load up chunked up trees into trucks
  • Debris Clean up
  • Erosion Repair

Heavy Machinery Projects- Trackhoes, Excavator, Dozers

  • Aquatics swimming area regrading
  • Rebuild peninsula
  • Clean/deepend chanel between peninsula and Chips Chapel/Campfire Ring
  • Repair low water crossing to Goin' Great Area
  • Tree Cleanup in Goin' Great area
  • Rebury culvert between Ecology and Chips Chapel
  • River bank and river bottom repair between Goin' Great and Health Lodge
  • Road Repairs:
    • Arrowhead Campsite
    • Apache Latrine to Green water tank
    • Waterline Road near COPE
    • Mohican to Chippewa
    • Logging Road near Longterm Parking 
    • Logging Road to Sawmill above Boonesboro Village
  • Replace/Reinstall culverts to Chicken Ridge
  • Regrade low water crossing at Seminole Campsite on Waterline Road
  • Mud/Sediment removal near COPE

Campsites/Showerhouses:

  • Dig out sediment at Brown Showers
  • Repair/replace tent platforms/frames 
  • Debris clean up in Nunc Keewanis
  • Remove sediment/debris from underneath Health Lodge

  • Plumbers
